But you forgot the most painful one ... thinking ...

Maybe the real question is 

	"why are people afraid of trying anything new?". 

... For that matter, why must the eMail subject include 
warning tags such as [OoP], [OT], or even [HUMOR] 
... why here, among friends?  

Is anyone afraid of laughing?  

Are the people who like to laugh afraid of offending 
the people who are afraid of laughing?  

BTW, I collect (along with far too many other things) .SIG 
files ... here's one that 'fits' this end of the discussion 

  Delirium:  There must be a word for it ... the thing 
             that lets you know that TIME is happening.  
             IS there a word?
