I think it's important not to take this personally, Stefan-- the 
commentators are right. You don't know what was going on, or what her 
personal experiences might have been otherwise. You just may have hit 
her on a raw nerve -- she may have had to fight people off to get the 
space, or argue with the local A&S minister or Control Laurel. The right 
thing, obviously, would be for her to seek you out and apologize when 
she actually realized what you were doing, but she may never do that.

Believe me, the rest of the SCA loves you very much. If your local 
groups are a pain in the a** (always remembering that a prophet is 
respected everywhere but his hometown), come move up to the East. We're 
obnoxious prigs but we do recognize what you do for the Society.
