Actually that is not a Knowne World Cooks but an independently run
cooking symposium on "European Cooking From Rome to the Renaissance".
This is our third conference (CookCon3) and we have a really exceptional
guest, John Hudson, coming from Yorkshire to talk about making and
cooking in his reproduction pottery. We are also planning to build and
fire a brick oven on site.

Take a look at the web site at:
http://home.pcisys.net/~mem/cookcon3.html. There is still a call for
papers out and we have room for several more on our schedule. Alys
Katherine is coming to do more work with sugar paste and Susan Plaisted,
who is presenting at Leeds this April, will also be talking to us about
bakeovens.

I would be happy to answer any questions and even happier to recieve
reservations, so please get in touch.

One must wait until evening to see how splendid the day has been.
