Waldetrudis,

I don't have the book you mentioned, but I do have one called "From a Monastery Kitchen," by Brother Victor-Antoine d'Avila-Latourrette.  The introduction says that most of its recipes are based on 17th century monestary cooking.  You are more than welcome to borrow it.

I have been looking for information on a book called "A Thousand Years of Monastic Cooking", or translated sources for any Monastic Cookery.  I am mostly interested in France, Germany (or that area), or Italy any help would be wonderful.
