Ambargris and musk are obtainable today but the question of US 
prohibitions is not the point.
The question is are prefumes used in food recipes today? Do the Brits 
still make pudding with ambargris?
Secondly I ask about the use of animal intestines for stuffing puddings. 
As we have examples of salty products in Latin-Europe, could it be that 
sweet puddings derived from the Mediterrean?
