Greetings-
where I am located it depends on who is hosting/catering and the amount of people attending. In LA I saw one organic catering *start* at $50 and go up depending what was requested for the protein. My wedding was $75 a person because I had grass fed chicken and beef that was locally grown. All produce was local too.
Check your local CSA farms to see how much their cost is for a portion of the harvest. The farm to table caterers and restaurants here in San Diego use the local CSA's for their produce. At the Red Door the meals start around the $20 range.
Depending where you live farm fresh produce is easy to get. It is the protein that can be tough to find.
Hope that helps-

Subject: [Sca-cooks] Farm-to-Table Dinners and What You Pay

I'm wrapping my brain around some modern-world things and I'm curious about
the cost of farm-to-table dinners in your area, what people might pay, and
what *you'd* be willing to pay. Let's say this:

   - 24 or fewer people attending
   - all local, organic food
   - appetizers and two entrees, plus dessert
   - you may or may not know the chef
   - wine with each course

Put whatever other limitations you have on it. Whatever helps you answer for
you. What would you pay? What do people pay that you know of local to you? I
asked this among facebook friends and thought I might get some more
interesting answers here what with y'all being foodies of varying types.

Cheers,

Iasmin
